Private Pilot License

Requirements to obtain a Private Pilot License include a total of 40 hours (FAA Minimum requirement). These hours include approximately 30 hours of Dual Flight Instruction, 10 hours Solo Flight , 15 hours of Ground Instruction. Obtaining and maintaining  a flight Medical Class 3. An evaluation including a written practical exam and check ride with a FAA certified DPE.  

For training, Instructors and students use our Piper Warrior and Cessna 172. 

Instrument Rating

Requirements to obtain an Instrument Rating is to hold a Private Pilot License, approximately 35 hours dual instruction, 3 hours dual simulator, and 20 hours ground instruction. Obtaining and maintaining a flight Medical Class 2. An evaluation including a written practical exam and check ride with FAA certified DPE. 

Commercial Pilot License

Requirements to obtain a Commercial Rating are approximately 250 total hours FAA regulations. This includes 100 hours of pilot- in command time (50 of which must be in powered aircraft), 50 hours of cross-country flight time, 20 hours of training including 10 hours of Instrument and 10 hours of complex or TTA, as well as holding a Private Pilot License. Obtaining and maintaining a flight Medical Class 2. An evaluation including a written practical exam and check ride with FAA certified DPE. 

CFI

Requirements to obtain a Certified Flight Instructor Rating include being at least 18 years of age, hold a Commercial Pilot License or airline transport pilot certificate, have at least 250 of logged flight time, and hold a flight Medial Class 3. An evaluation including a written practical exam and check ride with FAA certified DPE.   

CFII

Requirements to obtain a Certified Flight Instructor- Instrument Rating include being at least 18 years of age, holding a valid flight Medical Class 3, have all requirements as CFI, approximately 3-5 hours with Instructor in aircraft.    

Complex Endorsement

Student must exhibit complete competence in the operation of the complex aircraft for this endorsement is proficiency based.  

High-Performance Endorsement

Student must exhibit complete competence in the operation of the complex aircraft for this endorsement is proficiency based.
